Energy from the body....?

So we know that the body's cells actually work to decrease energy expression (too much heat/energy is given off while cells are working to keep us alive).

Wouldn't it be nice to figure out how to harness that energy even for ourselves, to control our cells to the point that we can make ourselves warmer in colder weather, and cooler in warmer weather?

Now we see that there are scientists that are trying to develop a machine/generator that can generate power from the body's rhythms;

It is even more interesting given that there was a sci-fi book a few years ago that suggested smaller computers would be driven by differentials in body electrical charges. It was done through inplanting a positive and negative lead into the body and hooking up the 'notebook' or smaller size computer to it.

A brave new world maybe?
